Admission Requirements

• A special degree ,BA (Hons) in Psychology at the Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya OR
• Completed the “Certificate Course in Psychology and Basic Counseling Skills” offered by the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya. OR
• Equivalent professional qualification in counseling, acceptable to the Department of Psychology as per the university regulations pertaining to the Certificate Course in Psychology and Basic Counseling Skills.

Calling for Applications

The application process starts at the 05th month of every ongoing batch. (Starting from June 2021)

The Advanced Certificate Course in Counseling Psychology program consists of the following components:

Five Course Modules
• Total Credits – 08
• Direct contact/ Lectures – 80 Hours
• Practical – 80 Hours
